Our People

Mountain Leap's events teams span the UK and the Alps, ensuring local knowledge wherever we go. Represented below are Mountain Leap's core management personnel.

Adam Honey

Adam began his career in 1990 in a central London residential estate agency before moving to Merrill Lynch International Bank in 1997, where he was employed as a Private Banker serving high net worth individuals. During the crisis in the financial markets that followed ‘9-11’, Adam left Merrill Lynch and founded Mountain Leap LLP.

During the first 3 years of operation, the business was divided into two overlapping sectors - the successful operations of a number of quality chalets and the arranging of corporate events. The company has since changed its strategy, discontinuing its chalet operation in order to focus fully on its core competency of managing high quality Alpine events for professional clients. Adam’s tireless work rate and dedication over the formative years of Mountain Leap laid the foundation for what the company has become today.

Adam is a keen extreme skier and mountaineer and enjoys sharing his passion for all things alpine as widely as possible. His belief that, to provide first class corporate ski events, you have to have a great passion for the mountains and an equally firm understanding of business is reflected in the people who now make up the Mountain Leap team.

Emma Barwell

After completing my degree I had both the privilege and pleasure of living in a number of countries with their diverse cultures from Cyprus, South Africa, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Mozambique, Australia, Middle East, Asia and Europe. These experiences broadened my outlook and gave me confidence in dealing with people on varying levels and with varying needs.

On returning to the UK, I worked for a highly respected Marketing company, where I was responsible for concept, design and implementation of events and bespoke build. Working with clients such as Virgin, Waitrose, Glastonbury, V. Festival, Britain's got Talent.…the list goes on!

I organized and accompanied various client events, including private jets to Iceland, reindeer rides in Finland and helicopters into Monte Carlo.

I then moved to a prestigious power boat company, based in the UK. Where, as Marketing Manager, amongst other assignments........such as highly successful Boat Shows in Miami, Southampton and London I had sole responsibility for working with the international " Fountain "  P1 racing team. I was responsible for the team and their guests, whilst on the racing circuit throughout Europe and the Middle East.

More recently, I moved to France, and have become a partner in Mountain Leap, specializing in corporate weekends and VIP weeks. Catering for high end business people, film celebrities….as well as families, all seeking the same thing a memorable experience.

I have found that most problems can be resolved with a cheerful smile, a sympathetic ear and the willingness to go that extra mile.

I take pride in offering guests the chance to be either nurtured and nourished in a stress - free environment in which they can relax and rejuvenate or be thrown into the realms of Alpine adventure with all the Mountains have to offer. The main aim to return home with some truly special memories......
