The Mountain

Pragelato Village Resort finds itself in Italy’s Piedmont region, neighbouring the popular resort of Sestriere, in the famous Milky Way ski area. Pragelato was in fact one of the main venues of the 2006 Turin Winter Olympics, for which it was conceived and created, completed just 2 years ago.

The Milky Way itself is made up of 5 villages; Cesana, Claviere, Sansicario, Sauze d’Oulx and Sestriere, linked by a huge 400 kms of pistes and 93 ski lifts making it one of Europe’s largest ski areas. This provides excellent variety for groups with mixed ability skiers, whilst the huge cable car that links Pragelato to the rest of the area is less than 50m from the hotel’s main reception.

From the moment you enter your accommodation, it is clear that you are somewhere different. The village’s rooms are better described as luxury apartments or executive suites. Most suites are spread over 2 floors with each one bedroom suite having its own living room, kitchen area and two bathrooms, whereas 2 bedroom suites are larger, with similar facilities and each room having its own bathroom.

The resort stretches over 7 lush hectares at an altitude of 1,534 meters and has 120 Executive Suites and 3 Deluxe Suites, all offering great facilities and special little extras: Laura Tonnato bath products, Frette bathrobes and towel sets, DVD home cinema – the list goes on.

Pragaelato is a great location for a corporate ski weekend.
