Ski Weekends in Gstaad

Gstaad is a traditional Swiss ski resort with beautiful scenery and wooded mountains. Over its history, it has acquired a reputation as one of the more "jet-set" resorts, but has actually more of a relaxed feel than St Moritz or Courchevel 1850, for example.

A large sking area, with 250kms of pistes, means there is room for most levels of skier to feel either relaxed in their comfort zone or chalenging themselves to improve - Gstaad is however, more suited to the intermediate skier than the expert.

Plentiful mountain restaurants, smaller, exclusive private chalets 4* and 5* hotels, mean this is a good choice for entertaining smaller groups. The excellent Gstaad Palace, however, that sits just above the town, overlooking the streets below, provides the ultimate in 5* service in an outstanding location.
