Ski Weekends in Courchevel 1850
The ultimate resort for first class hotels and exclusive events
Courchevel 1850 is the most famous and exclusive resort in France. Its high altitude setting and collection of boutique hotels and restaurants has ensured its status as one of the world’s best ski resorts, attracting a wide cross-section of international clients.
Courchevel 1850’s chic rubs off on the mountain restaurants, which are plentiful but can be more expensive than other resorts. The village is well served with restaurants, fashionable shops and facilities for those who wish to spend as much time soaking up the sophisticated atmosphere as they do putting themselves to the test on the mountain.
Couchevel 1850 can be accessed from Geneva and Lyon international airports in around 2 hours.
The Mountain
Forming part of Les Trois Vallées ski area, Courchevel has direct access to what is claimed to be the world’s largest ski area, with 600 kilometres of prepared slopes complemented by incredible off-piste terrain.
The immediate skiing of Courchevel is hard to beat and offers slopes for all abilities; anybody who tires of it always has the rest of les Trois Vallées at their disposal. With over 470 snow cannons and 22 piste bashers, the pistes are always immaculately groomed and snow is perhaps more reliable than the rest of the 3 Valleys as most of the slopes are North facing. The lift system is also very modern, fast and efficient.
